Service Fees and Terms

Current Fee Schedule:

In today’s high cost world and less than robust economy my aim is to continue to provide affordable mediation services without sacrificing quality. Working out of my Nevada County home office, I am able to offer comparatively low rates, which are higher in the counties involving substantial travel time and higher facility expenses. I hope you will find this current fee schedule helpful to your practice and your clients’ bank accounts.

Rates Per County where service is provided:

  • Nevada $225
  • Placer $225
  • Sacramento $300
  • Santa Clara $350 (Same for all Bay Area Counties)
  • Stanislaus $300
  • Sutter $225
  • Yuba $225

Payment:

Minimum of two hours payable at the conclusion of the session.

Minimum waived if mediation session cancelled, by agreement of the parties, at least 72 hours in advance.

All fees for each session payable at end of session. Invoice will be provided. Attorneys and parties are asked to have their checks on hand at that time.

For insurers or other third party payers of similar institutional stature, reasonable accommodations are made where additional time is needed to process the invoice.

Responsibility for Payment:

It is not practicable for the mediator to extend credit to clients represented by attorneys. Therefore, when attorneys participate on behalf of parties, the attorneys are responsible for the payment due with reference to their respective clients.

All attorneys and unrepresented parties are welcome to request a short term credit arrangement for payment of the fees. In such instances the mediator reserves the right to request a credit application containing relevant financial information.
